Rating: 5.0

Hailstones bounce on the vans rooftop.
Harsh, fierce, strong as if hurled by the Lord above.
Portraying his anger of those lacking spiritual love.
The Lord works in mysterious ways, of that I’m told.

You are a master at vividly describing a phenomenon of nature and relating it to a magnificent spiritual awareness. A wonderful life altering poem.

Many find god in many ways, but once you have felt his presense you will follow the rest of your days...10

I love the description from beginning to end. I have to stop breathing to be able to feel the whole happenings. Indeed, we have a God of Good beginning..All we have to do is to acknowledge His presence, His awesome presence in our life.

Wow, that was really good. I really like the opening paragraph... the descriptiveness of everything that is going on around you... good job!

Those who deny the existance of God should have this experience as well. It is a beautiful, touching poem, full with the contrast of the storms and the peace following. Well done!

Mel, another beautiful poem like you always write. The imagery that you projected here made me feel that I was actually in that storm, with the rain and the hail. With all the freak weather that is happening all over the world it makes you wonder if God is not angry at us. Telling us in his own way to get our act together. Top Marks from me and thanks for sharing it my friend. David

'Raining Tears Through Heaven's Door' is without a doubt one of the most touching lines I've ever read and again reminds me of Eric Clapton's 'Tears In Heaven.' Your line would have fit well in that song of his....Your vivid imagery is striking in here...As it storms off and on here now, I could relate...no hail though, just a boom/bang every once in awhil.....lovely Melvina...........marci.xo
