a child is a part of us.not a soul is hard-hearted enough to be softened by just a glimpse of his child.

Samanyan, yes, babies can transform lives and people in ways totally unexplained. isn't that's why they tell a couple having trouble to make a baby in the hope it will save the marriage. a very tender write. i totally agree with what Nikunj has said. was away for a week.thus the delay in reading this heart touching poem. Well it certainly sounds as if it were a redeeming experience for someone in need! Also you needed your dad and it was fitting he needed you too.

new intoxication.....nice term. Again this poem is very close to reality. images of a hospital, a child sleeping in the cradle...home coming etc. simple, sweet and stimulating....

You're lucky to be smiled at by your father...having learnt how a smile heals the wounded heart....you must throw it at your mother and your wife and kids as well...'keep smiling 'should be the motto in everyone's life isn't it...lovely write
