Ah! Deep, deep. 'By standing far enough away to see...' Read mine - Many a Mother is Forgotten Today - Adeline PS I wonder if you will get this one; it seems to have gone over the heads of the others. Thanks for your kind words.
Absence and distance make the heart grow fonder! You have brought in a beautiful analogy of viewing a painting from far and viewing the worth of our departed parents from beyond the boundaries of earth! ! Love for a mother is enhanced with time! A beautiful tribute!
Such a giant truth. Very often we realise only tot he full extent how much our parents mean to us when we have them no longer around. Even though I a not too big a fan of paintings, I still like the very nice comparison. For a mother, the problem lies most of the time with us, whenever we do not appreciate her, while for the painting it may be inherent to the painting not to be appreciated from near. Whatever it is it reamins a very wonderful and excellent poem
Joseph, this is toooo precious for words. And so, I will withhold my feeble comments, except to say: priceless. 10+++++++
A thoughtful beautiful poem, A mother`s love, beauty and value, so well written.
Once again, this is brilliant! This poem possesses such a lilting grace and such a deep message conveyed in a very interesting way.10+ Bravo!
