I am lucky, every morning I sit and listen to many songs of joy, sung by pretty song birds in my garden. They sing for their own pleasure but sure as the wind the lovely sound travels to entertain all that truly listen. Great poem Bob 10+

i still have my wings to fly which would take me to the meadows i love this..very touching lines.
I do agree that we would be compelled to put a mask in tune with the world but for how long? Everybody has a limit of tolerance beyond which he would remove his mask and be himself. Actually speaking, nobody is really wearing any mask in tune with the world. It is only that the individual tolerance is different from person to person for one's individual nature. Nobody can really go beyond one's individual nature at a given point of time. If a man happens to be hypocritic, it only means that this is his nature. There is an inherent nature for every indivudal in this world and this happens to be the influencing factor for the overall nature of an individual.
Lovely..your last lines are especially touching.10, for you. Warm regards, Sandra
