A wonderful poem, Daniel! A man walking in wide circles reminds me of Dante)
Circles I believe occur throughout the COMMEDIA, not least of which are our circling thoughts, as we circle in on an idea, person, object. And that also strikes me as an image of flight which is the ultimate freedom.
When love becomes poetry and poetry becomes love, true love and true path become one and inseparable. To quote from this enchanting poem- - - - - I will assume the role of a pilgrim, my walking staff will measure the distance between my loneliness and your grace of being. I will assume the role of a prospector, and dig for gold in the least likely places, because it is your golden presence I need. I will become a scholar, and haunt libraries like a ghost gliding from book to book seeking the one which tells your story and shows how I become part of it.
Oh she is amazing isn't she? She laces fantasy with hope and it is here where she traps us, but we want to be taken....yes, devour us that we might just touch her grace of being! ! ! I really love this poem my friend! ! ! , you outdid yourself here and I say bravo! ! !
This is an interesting, amazing and a nicely crafted tribute poem for Aphrodite. Becoming a scholar is nice and hunting libraries bring memories of knowledge. Assuming role of pilgrim is amazing and this motivates mind for holiness. Still strangers try to discover one favourable path. Holding hands and starring into eyes reflect deep emotion. This poem is excellently penned.10
