Among so many different flowers
In the hilly slopes and the valleys,
Stood a solitary one in the corner,
That singularly caught my eyes.

Excellent poem. Sometimes solitude gives us pleasure. I think so. I also want to be like that flower. Beautiful writing.

Very nice :) I like the fact that you use unique language in your poems. It gives me a chance to learn something new and give a deeper meaning to your poems. I love writing poems and I hope i can continually get better and poems like these will help me do so :)
Thank you, Julianna A. Laplante, for your inspiring comment. This is a great encouragement for me. I've read some of your poems already. Loneliness, it seems, occupies your mind too. I've just left a comment on your poem 'The Mask of Dreamers', the poem is so beautiful!
@Aftab Alam Khursheed, Thanks for your kind words. I am inspired.
wow! how nicely you described a Solitary flower (symbol of lonely souls) great work simply i liked it :)
@Ruby Mostazir, Thank you for reading my poem and sharing your thoughts here. I am much inspired by your praise of the poem.
I have read some of your poetry and I really enjoyed reading “a solitary flower”. It was a poem that represented humanity as a whole to me. The solitary flower to me represented us going within ourselves, still living within the confinement of earth on one hand, but being free from the attachments of it. I guess depending on the “stage” of spiritual development everyone gets to experience this poem different. It was wonderful. Thank you so much for writing it. Claudia
Dear Claudia Warzecha, I am amazed at the way you've seen this poem of mine. 'I guess depending on the “stage” of spiritual development everyone gets to experience this poem different.' - Simply superb observation! Your poem -'Beyond Words' is a gem, no doubt.
@Hazel Evelyn Durham, Thank you very much for your generous comments. Your high praise is a treasure I would behold for long. It's a great inspiration for me, ma'm!
I minded little bit a rhythm of the poem, but i must say a big like for the way you described her and how you saw her. This was so cute - she was like the one who was more shy than bitter, more just lonely and extraordinary than hopeless. I loved it, it touched my heart :) X
'she was like the one who was more shy than bitter, more just lonely and extraordinary than hopeless. I loved it, it touched my heart' - Thank you so much, @Martina Danielova, for sharing your thoughts after reading my poem. Much inspired by your thoughtful comment.
@Susan Lacovara, To me, more often than not, one that stands alone is eye catching and beautiful. Your words have reassured me that I am not alone in that stream of thoughts. Thanks for your comments which always reach me as an inspiration.
A lovely poem with a hint of Wordsworth, I think? I would love to have seen this exotic Nepalese flower! Something for botanists to rave over. I love the description of the insects as well as the flowers. But is there a deeper meaning too? Excellent, Khairul.
Oh my God, even if a slight hint of Wordsworth if you get by reading my poem, that should take me to cloud 9! Thank you @Susy Evelyne, for reading my poem and leaving such a generous appraisal here. I've read your poem 'Plan B' and left my comment there.
This took my breath away. I especially love the parallel one can draw between the solitary flower and the solitary woman. Lovely work.
Thanks, @Erika Wingo, for reading my poem. Your comment is short, but left a lasting happiness in my mind. After all, who wouldn't be happy if his works were appreciated like this? I've read your poem 'Prelude to Death' and left a comment there. Stay Blessed!
You are an observer, a searcher for life's secrets. Who is searching shall be full filled. Beautiful thoughts.
I am much honored by your adjectives, madam Lasoaphia Quxazs. Thank you for reading my poem and sharing your thoughts.
