Rating: 4.6

Among so many different flowers
In the hilly slopes and the valleys,
Stood a solitary one in the corner,
That singularly caught my eyes.

You are an observer, a searcher for life's secrets. Who is searching shall be full filled. Beautiful thoughts.

Excellent poem. Sometimes solitude gives us pleasure. I think so. I also want to be like that flower. Beautiful writing.

You are very insightful. That is a very beautiful poem.Only a good poet could have found that flower, and spin out such excellent words to describe her.

Thank you, Julianna A. Laplante, for your inspiring comment. This is a great encouragement for me. I've read some of your poems already. Loneliness, it seems, occupies your mind too. I've just left a comment on your poem 'The Mask of Dreamers', the poem is so beautiful!

I have read some of your poetry and I really enjoyed reading “a solitary flower”. It was a poem that represented humanity as a whole to me. The solitary flower to me represented us going within ourselves, still living within the confinement of earth on one hand, but being free from the attachments of it. I guess depending on the “stage” of spiritual development everyone gets to experience this poem different. It was wonderful. Thank you so much for writing it. Claudia

Dear Claudia Warzecha, I am amazed at the way you've seen this poem of mine. 'I guess depending on the “stage” of spiritual development everyone gets to experience this poem different.' - Simply superb observation! Your poem -'Beyond Words' is a gem, no doubt.

I minded little bit a rhythm of the poem, but i must say a big like for the way you described her and how you saw her. This was so cute - she was like the one who was more shy than bitter, more just lonely and extraordinary than hopeless. I loved it, it touched my heart :) X

A lovely poem with a hint of Wordsworth, I think? I would love to have seen this exotic Nepalese flower! Something for botanists to rave over. I love the description of the insects as well as the flowers. But is there a deeper meaning too? Excellent, Khairul.

Oh my God, even if a slight hint of Wordsworth if you get by reading my poem, that should take me to cloud 9! Thank you @Susy Evelyne, for reading my poem and leaving such a generous appraisal here. I've read your poem 'Plan B' and left my comment there.

This took my breath away. I especially love the parallel one can draw between the solitary flower and the solitary woman. Lovely work.
