Celebrate! Celebrate!
Without someone to hold
Someone to love
It's not a joyous occasion

There is a paradoxical, ironic play in the wording, to celebrate is an occasion of sharing ones happiness and personal satisfaction, and yet the subject is about ones own loneliness, where their is no applause for celebration except if one is a hermit, which I do not get from the reading. Underneath it all is the pain of human loneliness, that strips us all. I feel sad, but also proud the articulation of your feelings is something I whole heartedly relate to. Great job LeeAnn!
