The thing that keeps you
up at nights
dreading
thinking
hoping
weeping
into your bed sheets
and/or out loud
worrying
sweating
just maybe panicking
regretting
and then
bargaining

Fantastic points, Richard. Whenever any organization makes promises from the vantage point of infallibility, there is bound to be trouble. Great observations, my friend!
As I was reading this poem, I couldn't help thinking about all of the damage that had been done (and is still being done) by SOME Roman Catholic priests against children. More films like SPOTLIGHT need to be made to put the spotlight on these despicable priests!
