What comes to mind here Graham is the Barn Owl. nature has a weird way of keeping the population down/I realy felt for the mouse in this poem. A wonderful poem to enter into a childrens antholergy cheers Sylvie
I feel the little man's terror as he cowers under the leaves, and, whichever way it ends, life does go on. Lovely that you give us a choice of endings.
