The subtle sun through ancient maple leaves, Paints memory with a gentleness that grieves. A touch of soul is music to the bone, Even after every wing has flown. Harmoniousness of your single note is like a symphony. Anonymity disclosed with respect and honour. Beautiful acknowledgement for a beautiful soul. You are very kind, Sandra. Best Regards Naseer

Reverence penned with beauty and gentle respect. Your single note must be the oboe - the instrument that tunes the whole orchestra; the instrument that Bach uses so sweetly in so many of his Cantata obligatos. Her name, Mrs. Hinkle, reminds me of Mrs. Tiggy Winkle (my favorite Beatrix Potter character) . Your 'touch of soul is music to the bone' is particularly evocative. love, Alison ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The inscrutable yet touching music of the soul is heard when the leaves of those ancient maples clatter in the sunny wind

The poem and the story are dramatic...finding poetry and personality remaining long into the eternal day far beyond the funeral tears of a moment past.
