A Singer Of Rama (A Post-Script) Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

A Singer Of Rama (A Post-Script)

A singer of Rama
He was singing and weeping,
I saw him standing far
From me
And singing,
Singing the song of Rama,
A strange singer he was
Singing so much
With devotion and dedication
The song of Rama
In whispers,
So feebly,
As singer of Rama,
Rama he was,
But when I approached,
Tried to approach him,
I found him not,
Found him not
The singer,
The singer of Rama.

They also pray who but devotionally,
They also sing,
Sing the song of Rama
Who but soulfully,
Heartfully
As Rama is in the heart,
In the soul,
Not in the outward,
They also sing,
Sing the song of Rama
Who but feebly
In whispers,
Hey, Rama,
Where You!
