I hate living in a sinful and unchristian city
Where bars and racetracks are at, it's such a pity.
Where only for gambling and drinking people will come
And unto sin and greed and debauchery many will succumb,
It's all just for the income.
.
I hate living in a city where excitedly they bet on horses
Thinking it will change their life's courses.
They will go to the bars to drink and also to get drunk
Then they are morally and spiritually sunk,
And the next thing you know they took the last dunk.
According to the Bible what they do is sinful and corrupt
Godly thoughts and inspiration they will interrupt.
And when from horse races they celebrate as a winner
They instead are losers and a sinner,
Now unto sin and debauchery they will have a fine dinner.
Sad when anyone follows the ways of the Devil
As they gamble and drink and they enjoy it on every level.
Soon the gamblers and the drunks will be their sons and their daughters
And then they too will be drowning in the high waters,
Once they stood on the rock of Gibraltar.
These cities are sending their souls straight to hell
As they frequent those establishments where the Devil does dwell.
Now on racing forms they diligently will do their searches
Soon they'll completely ignore God and his churches,
With more beers and bets they will make their soul purchases.
In our city drinking and gambling is legal on the sabbath day
Now on a horse race with a beer in hand they can bet and then pray.
The Devil and the greedy will smile as they tip their fedora
Now around our city there will be a sinful aura,
One more step closer to become like Solomon and Gomorrah.
