Lovely! I spent my earliest years in San Francisco, and still love the ocean, its constant motion and yet its peace. Your poem brought back some sweet memories!

so delicate and endearing, such words float across the page as gentle and calm as the sea.

I read this poem with relish and i really enjoyed it. I do like your style of writing and i love the fact that it has echoes of Shakespeare. I never read more than one poem at a time so that i can consider how they affect me without being deluged/ I will read more.

Some times unspoken words reveals much and words are felt too short to described our emotions. Sometimes we need love but our pride prevent us from telling so............. Good Write.........

A realistic piece of wrting, easily understandable, exposing pride as the enemy of love, but still finding a ground to begin, actually to defeat pride. Very personal and sweet composition.10

This poem lilted right into my heart. Sea, I find, sets a mood and the wind and your memories adds to the pull of pride. The word thee is just so romantic. Loved it! Karin Anderson
