Darkness seems to endlessly surround,
A night that never ends.
There is light to be found,
When kindness shines again.
Even in the dimmest storm,
Simple acts of kindness can
Drive away clouds, bring a morn
And supply the hope to stand.
The unlooked-for deed,
That blesses and gives gladness
Is like water on a seed
It brings forth a flower forgetting sadness.
It is the simple caring
The helping hand, the extra mile,
It is the little kind things
That makes a sad face smile.
