A very poignant poem Col., when we are hurt so deeply, we do need someone in our lives who will let us cry on their shoulders. A caring and compassionate person to stand by us through it all. I feel your pain - I bent on a wall, I wept in solitude - it is very difficult to be alone in times like this. God is the only one in the end to extend mercy on us, as it protects in times of sorrow.

An impressive poem Colonel Sahib, when wound is so deep everyone needs a shoulder to weep, in absence of a shoulder we remember God who gives rest to our body and peace to our soul. A nice write.
