A Shortcut Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

A Shortcut

Wrapping up time
An inspiring story-
Tried and tested one
Paying a humble tribute
Learning all tricks and trade.

Crafting a fine and funny story-
Mixing humour with a hint of confidence
Swift swipes and words matter so much-
Annoying, yet loving too deep.

One can survive to thrive-
Learning several inspiring lessons
Never say, social-affection is dying
Just, sneak and peek into love affairs
Paste of sweet-honey on the bread slices.

Where the youth enjoys
The bounty of hard work
The only profitable project
A multi-disciplinary route-
Nowhere, thereto find a shortcut.
