Excellent poem of 18 lines, ending with rhyme of ending words with meaning.
Between the budding promise of a sweet fragrance and the inevitable fall of the petals the blossoms live their life.. So is the case of this tale of love chanted and heard in its all realistic narration
In such a short space it blossomed and then all turned sour, such is life, great turns of phrase.
To romance they climbed up and to deliverance by divorce, they fell headlong down. If the spark of love had been fanned by affection, sacrifice..., they would not have longed for riddance.
It isn't silly- its a ditty of logic! The mono rhyme scheme is very appealing and the musing too has a charm of its own.I enjoyed the beautiful poem.!
Whether this story is true or imaginative, it does not matter but the love of those man and a woman on either side of a fence was tested through penance is a matter to be viewed. Secretly, they nursed many a grievance and saw each other with a vengeance, that you have incisively inscribed, took a turn of violence which was ended with divorce. Brilliant work.10
