The wind transcribes the dusk upon pale leaves.
I touch your hand to prove the mood is real.

There is a saying 'Chasing the crooked shadow.' shadows do not reflect real things as they are but distortions of real things. So you can't say shadow is beautiful. When you say no sound is needed to configure song, does it become a shadow of the song or an abstract idea? Of course, for writing a song no sound is required, what I mean. Your poetical way of telling such things gives several interpretations in one's mind. Well done!

Hell, Sandra. On revisiting. A piece that is... utterly yours, and couldn't be bettered. Why would you wish to write like anybody else? No: the other way round. t xxx

A whisper, a prayer, a moment of tenderness - touch, sight and sound echo always in your verse. This poem brought tears to my eyes - blessed tears, that soothe the soul. Without shadow, light would be invisible. Truly, a wonderful blend of music, color, sound and soul.

There are lovers that we meet and can't forget, lovers separated by time as well, you're poetry is the sadness of my heart, maybe we will be lovers yet in some place divorced from time. Uriah

Full of beauty and pleasure. I like your choice of words especially 'touch' and 'linger'. Can our memories be only shadows that linger still?

You depiction of the Shadow beautiful is amazing. I love this piece, it's beautiful, I expecially love the last line (No sound is needed to configure song.) that is so true Sandra, so true. Another great poem by one of the masters on this site. Thankyou for the joy Sandra.--Melivina--
