Commericialisation of Nature's gifts Herbs, fruits, leaves, roots and all Given free to us, how can we sell What is not truly our's but belongs To future humanity - The simple joys Of climbing trees plucking fruits With their juice running down our elbow To chase a squirrel and sing with parrots All now lost and our children drink From bottles and tetrapacks While we gulp down ancient wisdom In haste and hurry, no time to spare, As pills and lageums* with no one To make them with a dash of love Or concern as our grandmas did in ages old. But, to allude to all the above and then Talk of the Spiritual too with such ease In self same breathe I assure No one else other than you can ever do! [*medicine made in Jam like consistency] Angel

i like the phrase ' life is a journey' it is not the destination that is of great interest its the journey in marriages the moment till the ' Muhurat' is interesting rather than the tying the knot moment which puts a full stop to meeriments great Lakshmanji

This is a great analogy, can one learn sprituality in a 15 day yoga class, well he/she needs to grow from the seed, and feel it inside. As usual, great piece Lakshminarayan.10

There is much wisdom between the lines of this fine poem about life as a process, not just as a series of obstacles to be avoided. Delayed gratification can be a very important tool for personal growth - in fact, many who are indulged and pampered, become incapable of finding real happiness. Wait for your seed to grow. Water it. Feed it and enjoy the fruits of your patience. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Love & Friendship are quite different. Often, we share if we see a friend in others, but it does not have to bloom. A friend is someone you feel you can trust because in them you see a bit of yourself. I'm not sure if it's the cultural difference that leads me to believe this but often it's also our responsibility not to mislead any friend too no?

A nice, excellent poem. The only thing is that there is not fruit without a seed. If I can give you fruit, I should be already having the seed in me.
