A Season Passed Poem by Leon Moon

A Season Passed

a season passed
and the rock stayed grey
a shadow stained
by suicides of day
the dye cast, unforgivable
and the impression female:
earth's uneven stilts nurture
a season passed
and the dreams chiselled
still fall warm
on the icicles in our fingertips.
