A Room Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

A Room

I found a great room,
It was wonderful,
I got a cosy shelter there
And my joys knew no bounds,
I stayed there for a long time
With absolute peace and happiness.
Then one day a holy stranger came and gently said to me,
"Dear friend! your time is over,
You have to leave this beautiful room now,
Another man will come
And he will stay here,
As this is the rule of this glorious sphere."
I could not believe it,
Tears came in my eyes,
But I had to accept it.
