A Rocking Boat To The Moon Poem by Brown mbadiwe

A Rocking Boat To The Moon

1.
I said I'd stay, but waves said "Go! "
The stars lined up to steal the show.
Who pushed? A rocking boat to the moon!

2.
My boat was creaky, half a spoon —
Still, I set sail for the moon.
Who pushed? A rocking boat to the moon!

3.
"Who pushed? " I yelled — no one replied,
The sea just giggled, stars complied.
Who pushed? A rocking boat to the moon!

4.
My hat flew off, my pants too soon —
All thanks to that rocking boat to the moon!
Who pushed? A rocking boat to the moon!

5.
I passed a fish who rolled his eyes,
He said, "You're late — big surprise."
Who pushed? A rocking boat to the moon!

6.
I said, "I'm early for afternoon! "
He splashed and laughed, "You're such a loon! "
Who pushed? A rocking boat to the moon!

7.
My tea went cold, my map got wet,
I haven't reached the moon just yet.
But if I do, I'll build a dune,
And rock all night by the silver moon.
Who pushed? A rocking boat to the moon!
