Very powerful images of a mighty rock. I love the 'flea upon my chest' brings home how insignificant we are compared to the unconquerable and insurmountable.

Thank you Simone. You appear to be working your way through my poetry. Thank you again. We sit and write. Hoping that when we send our baby into the world, that it possesses the requisite number of limbs, so that others may not stare. It means even more when people are pushed into writing words about one's poetry

Well drafted, quite deep with several possible meanings to each phrase and para.. till the end I didn't realize the poet was writing from a sea facing rock's perspective.. hope I got it right..thanks
