A Rich Land For The Hungry Poem by Christopher Cariad

A Rich Land For The Hungry

Dear kings of this world,
Why pave the streets with your golden roads
when these people are clearly
wanting food to eat.
You are so blinded by these worldly treasures,
that you can’t and will not see,
the masses rioting in the streets,
of pearls and silk
Just wanting a few shekels in their
pocket and a loaf of bread at there
barren table.
Please dear kings open your eyes to such madness.

Good message, especially in the world of plenty and starvation. The result is Apocalyptic Talk. Take a read. Thanks, Chris.
