A Rhyme Of A Mariner Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

A Rhyme Of A Mariner

Rating: 3.4

O bluish heaven!
where I put my love
when you waves
my fragile fate

O yellowish horizon!
where I put my legs
when you smashes
my anguished dream

O whiter water!
sail me away
to humble palm
on vivid island

O softer wind!
fly me away
to calm cloud
on secret stream

O funny penguin!
go to your nest
I really need
your advice

O flashy dolphin!
go to your palace
I really follow
your vow

some pearls
wait for beginners
in turbulent time
I never let you die

some diamonds
need to be explored
on cracking deck
I never leave you

being a past mariner i could see.all the meaning you send. with the ocean beating against the shore, like true love ever more.

The Mariner is gifted with such a beautiful environment while he sails on and on.

Hang on to your dreams no matter how difficult they may seem and then realise and appreciate their importance.Another ten from me.You are very philosophical....
