It's possible, but where is the revolution, in which country. The poem makes me think of the Revolutions in France, the USA, Russia and China, and others. They brought about change quickly, but at a huge cost. A thought-provoking poem.

Francie, I was curious when you wrote this and saw you posted it before Donald Trump’s ascent to power. No matter. This poem still resonates for me. Just last night with friends we talked about Kavanaugh’s ascent to the Supreme Court and the obvious reasons he is unfit for the job. Yes, we need a revolution, but a peaceful one, one that will heal the divisions. I’m reminded in this poem of Cohen’s Democracy is Coming to the USA. -GK

A great poem on how a revolution will bring changes to the society. The revolution will give people freedom from hunger and injustice and all will be equal in the eyes of law. Revolutionary poem. Enjoyed. Congrats on being selected as poem of the day.
