A Returning Word Poem by james watkin

A Returning Word

Until what's refreshing heard
For her returning word
Doubtings frightful whispers, through
Air's faint swirling inferred.

Til lifted of this trilled sky
Path of his waiting by
Spring-time hopes in the heart, tree's
On bough, bird-less, that die.
