A Returning Tide Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

A Returning Tide

Rating: 5.0

Revisiting oceans I've sailed before,
my eyes now finally see

Their currents deeper but softer felt,
all doldrums blowing free

As friends I greet them no longer strange,
once passing in the night

With anchors dropping inside my soul
—to harbor this delight
