A Rendezvous With Pride And Prejudice. Poem by Gabriel T. Saah

A Rendezvous With Pride And Prejudice.

Rating: 5.0

A solemn wave of envy drove
Them to Beverly hills,
Where mounds and trenches,
Sang with sad clenches,
Mortal man bleeding cruelty,
And feels it not in reality,
All had sprang up from animosity
As the wailing of children began
Vague music,
You batter life with guns,
Kill your brother and think it's fun,
Cruelty bleeds envy and animosity,
Lying tongues bequeath corruption as
the only legacy,
Disguised kleptomaniac stand as saints,
Safely anchored to a poor man's doom,
Fingers pointing but who can take the broom,
Righteous truth shunned far from the group,
As mortal man disbursed guns on and against his brother,
Fearing judgement but hate the truth
As Beverly hills cries the weight on her top.
