Oh, I'm a randy Tomcat,
I wanna sow my seed.
I'm seeking female company,
To satisfy my needs.
You all know 'bout the state I'm in,
You must've felt the same.
There's not a creature on this earth,
Who does not lust or crave.
I'm prowling through the streets at dusk,
When bats begin to fly,
I'm scavenging in dustbins,
I'm getting the glad-eye,
From a tasty, flirty bit of Puss,
I've fancied now for weeks.
I'm primed, psyched up, all set to go,
But first I need a leak!
I spy a nice spot 'cross the street,
Where I can have a piddle,
I creep out from behind a bus,
Proceed towards the middle,
When out the blue, I tell you true,
Cross heart and hope to die,
Not more than twenty yards away,
A pair of dazzling lights!
I had not seen 'em coming,
Was blissful' unaware.
Now almost right upon me,
I sense the headlights' glare!
I'd always thought 'twas rabbits,
Wot got caught in this way,
And more than once, I've seen some rat
Squashed flat as a pancake.
Now here I am, a horny Tom,
About to get run o'er,
And all because I could not shun
My feline sex-drive's lure.
You may have heard cats have nine lives,
I'd just one left of mine.
Car slams on brakes, alas, too late!
I've used nine out of nine...

Who does not or crave' is the truth of the animal life.Beautifully penned.
Awesome poem, great flow and rhyme. Sad end, hope this is all in dreams.5****
Great. I've written a couple of poems where the cat does not come out that well. The way I see it, if you don't get him in seven you can do it in nine. Great poem.
