A Rainy Afternoon

A rainy afternoon
==================

On a rainy afternoon, I suddenly woke up from slumber, disturbed by thunderbolts,
The turbulent wind shook my room, and my heart's tumultuous jolts.

The lightening flashed radiant as ever,
Beguiled by nature 's majestic scenery,
I relished each moment to savor.

My yearning for the cozy bed vanished in mere seconds,
I curiously gazed at the cloudy sky it's beauty beckons.

I must thank nature for her blissful act,
Rain poured incessantly making a profound impact.

Raindrops played a tune on my rooftop,
with no intent to stop.
I fondly reminisced my childhood days,
When I was hopping and dancing in rain's joyful hop.

I cherish to return to those times, once more,
Though deluded, I hold the memories, unable to restore.
