A Rain Washed Red Rose Comments

Rating: 5.0

Valsa, I particularly relate to the last line. And how color, in gray light, seems more intense! -Glen

A transcendental work, Valsa. If there is any flower that seems to dance, to find joy, to revel in a hard rain, it is the rose. I look in my own garden and see much of it groaning after a terrific rainfall. The roses are bobbing up and down, giving thanks for the refreshment. A great work!

'Oh symbol of grace, you rock me in delight, And in me a thousand poetic fancies ignite! ' - So does it, to your readers! The picture and the poem, No doubt, a poetic gem! The glimpse of early beauty you have interestingly captured with much benevolent care and affection. Raindrops dripping on its petals sing a nice song. We hear the true sound of raining and dance of petals we see and feel. A magnetic and magnificent poem is excellently penned...5 stars.

A beautiful poem on red rose. A poet can't help writing a poem looking a rose with its petals sprinkled with dew drops or rain drops rolling on its soft petals. 'Oh symbol of grace, you rock me in delight, And in me a thousand poetic fancies ignite! , .... is so beautiful. Great poem.
