An excellent poem, T.J. I have loved and lost and have loved again. True love does not die with the loved one though. I am a better person for the true loves in my life. This one gets a ten from me. Regards Ron
You know I love all your work. We are better off to have loved and lost even if the experience was not good. We can learn from those mistakes and try it again. (smile)
Love is the only medicine to repair a heart dear TJ. Excellant piece. I appreciate your thought.
A wonderful simile paired with nature's destructions. I do feel that we are, in many cases, better off to have loved and lost as long as it wasn't a horrible experience. It's part of life and helps us to move on down the path that we have to take anyway. Loved this poem, TJ! Keep writing and sharing with us. A '10! ' Warm Wishes, Marilyn
Poignant. And very true. A good question....... George
Certainly a good question to ponder and a good poem to read. Thanks Regards Dave T
Wonderful analogy. Great comparrison. Some have resolved such question, while many yet ponder it.
