Very interesting perspective. She presently is merely an abstract of desired goods. The speaker desires a beloved and only hopes that when he meets the one he feels he cannot live without she will not refuse him. A thought and desire many share, beautifully expressed. Excellent imagery that the speaker will be a burning ember.
