A Pulse Poem by Sachidananda Panda

A Pulse

I do carry a heart clean
Purest to the core, a pure mind
A white sheet.
My intentions, my attitude,
Give it any name, as you choose
Have always been genuine and deep.
May you choose, to leave me by choice
Yet! make no mistake!
I would have nothing to lose
By any such haste,
Or the mess, rather!
You would lose a love,
A pulse
And a Friend.
