A Psalm Of David Poem by Christopher Cariad

A Psalm Of David

You lay there broken and shattered,
in millions of pieces,
scattered and broken
from the hatred of men.
God will pick you up and put you back together again,
taking you places
you've never been.
Piece by piece,
restoring your life,
filling you with the delight
of praising Him fully
as the chains are broken.
The bondage gone,
the trust restored.
God has done wonders
to this mended soul.
Putting together the final pieces,
you commit to Him fully.
Traveling through God's path
and staying in His place,
you will forever be
A warrior of God.
Who sings His song
from sea to sea
and coast to coast.
Mending the broken with this song of life,
that was written
from those shattered pieces
left in the strife.

May we wonder who is David. Sounds pretty good as a Psalm of Chris. Read mine - Wide Open Spaces - Adeline
