A glorious moment on the Republic Day
That I am proud to depict,
The school children assemble in the school premises,
The national flag is hoisted by the Headmaster on this auspicious occasion,
The children listen to the great speeches delivered by their respected teachers about the significance of this day with rapt attention.
Thereafter all sing the national anthem in chorus with great reverence
And it's then the glorious incident happens,
A mentally retarded man sitting in one corner of the school premises, stands with utmost effort,
He is old, sick and starved,
Still he tries hard and stands with the support of a nearby wall,
He has a little national flag in his hand
Which the man raises proudly with his feeble hand
And mutters the national anthem with the sweet children,
What a wonderful sight it is!
Indeed I am very lucky to write this fabulous moment.
