A Prince Poem by Saul Palti

A Prince

Have you ever loved another
the same as love for me
so warm and free
for what good was a lover

wandering around the shadows
looking for what only I can bring
with a voice so soft the ears do ring
all throughout the gardens meadows

the serpent tricked me as well
and this tail I do tell
what good was being alone
when you deserve a thrown
