like Akhtar, i was tending to think pink. but i think most souls, whatever that means, are shades of gray, though some are almost black (though i don't like the use of black to indicate bad) and some are almost white (though i don't like the use of white to indicate good) . i'm looking forward to more. give us MORE. i want to hear about the dirt in your life, as well as the pureness, if there is any. bri :) :) :) p.s. don't forget to include the remodeling.
A poignant write, mam. Pouring out all that you have into those pages shows that your soul is white and poetry comes out from your heart. if my soul is black or white? I think this is one question that we all must ask ourselves and try to know what we really are and where we stand. Beautiful write.
A woman of substance who has seen it all, yet with much humility to moderate her success. Kudos Prof! May Almighty God continue to protect you in the safety of HIS PRESENCE. Always remain blessed. Thanks a million times for your appraisal of my poem THE PHOENIX STRANGLER.
After a long hiatus I'm reading this wonderful poem of yours, Valsa. The honest preface to your autobiography indicates that your soul is indeed white. Enjoyed reading.
Oh wow...loved reading this chronicle and always njoi reading all ur verses. Thanx a lot for sharing
Dear Valsa, I am reading your candid chronicle of you life and of course soul is white. Beautiful presentation and enjoyed reading it.
Your poem prefacing your autobiography is a summation of the real you- no shades or masks. When you are real you cannot be unreal for you bare all. That's what makes your poems and you so lovable. Yet to bear all involves a risk to relationships, but no deep relationship can be built without being who you are - just being real. Your biography could be probably a revelation of many lives - unheard or unread.
What a great idea for a poem! The preface to one's autobiography, which gave you the chance to select the facts of your existence that YOU consider important, provide your own interpretation of those facts (as important as the selection of facts) and express YOUR hopes and guesses about what's to come. Your Preface made me consider these elements of an autobiography; your Preface convinced me these would be you guiding ideas. But what a risk such writing it. The Preface also reveal how helpless you are, and dependent on your reader's good will.
You write with such honesty Valsa expressing with the beauty of your words that soar to a higher place, as we read with pleasure at the pure, vivid and outstanding poems that you give from your heart and soul! !
It's at all not black, its white divine color I see with a shade of pinkish roses. Nice poem........10
