A Prayer For Peace. Poem by Michael Cochrane

A Prayer For Peace.

Let the world be as still as the first dawns breath, when silence hushes, what sorrow left. Let each heart rise like morning light, unfolding wings in loves flight. In broken lands where shadows cling, let mercy flow like rain in spring. In barren hearts where love is thin, let kindness bloom, let peace begin. When man chooses love and not evil all wounds will heal, what was lost shall be reborn.
