A Prayer For Eco's Existance Poem by sisirachandra vaduge

A Prayer For Eco's Existance

Rocking trees in between cloying downy ray
Glides away the mist in tranquil gay
Lovely green teascapes, meadows marsh lands and monkey's abbey
Nine magestic rocks gazing easterly towards rising sun's ray

Bushes herbs and creepers, rocks and trees, birth places for cool fountatins
Flows down stream to relieve estate working mass and farmers
Beautifies nature breezing away summer winds
Slaying thursts of wild beasts, fishes and insects

Pluims, nuts, grains and blossoms to feed and plains to play
Homes for perching birds and bats to play
Sustains affectionate ecological role play
To make the community happy in a nature's way

The God Indaka look high glum high above slanted cliff, at the fuel wood plantation
Receives offerings of devotees seeking better harvest to save from starvation
Never curses in anger for flooding or earthslip devasation
Blessing always for the survival of the working man...

We pray your majesty!

' You may long live for the eco's existance '
