I can see the sad face of a dejected poet who has a sad tale of a lost beauty and joy around

Nice poem, and congrats on POD. Whenever I want to see a portrait of ugliness, I just look in the mirror!

Nature is warning us not to pollute, and crowd with the kind of congregation the new society requires. It has consequences. A sad but ugly reality of modern life. Great poem. Congratulations Dorsey.

We are destroying the world by polluting it. Nature will not watch it unconcerned but it will react. Congrats!

Yes, Nature is raging against Man for creating filth, garbage, pollutants, chemical effluents, weapons and so many ugly things that clog the arteries of earth and drawing her towards death.A wonderful poem on environmental pollution.Congratulations for Poem of the Day!

Really an insightful piece on the need for conservation of nature written with clarity of thought and mind. A witty creation set aside for sober reflection. Thanks for sharing, Dorsey.

Very lyrical despite the ugliness you see... it is a rare insight when one sees beauty in the ugliest of things. Thank you very much for sharing.

Excellent write. We are certainly a throw a way society with it now spilling over. Greed and selfishness a big impact. Our Banks have let us down still taking money from the deceased. Fuel companies are riding a huge wave with high prices. We don't even know if the homeless are homeless any more. Some are set up like salesmen.

Mother Nature can only take so much. We all must act now before it's too late. Excellent write, Dorsey!

This is how life is going on all around the world. People do not care about the harm they are doing to the nature. A very nice poem with a strong message. Congrats.

We, as poets, need to look at the world through wise and truthful eyes but at the same time to find the good and the joyful and to write about it, as well.

A poem full of despair? I likened it to people don't care? Poor nature is now at risk of our careless attitudes! .....well written Dorsey
