Many poets live desolate And they die derelict After their death may come fame But what use if they had to live in shame! I remember the great poet Ayyappan who slept in railway stations and shop verandhas, but was cremated with state honors! An interesting read!

Enjoyed the gentle humor of the windshield ride, felt the sadness of a poet dying, although he was buried with honors and lives on even in your poem. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for your comments on my poem: Proceeding Nowhere. RoseAnn
Very moving and I thank you for the Poet notes. A Tramp in hospital corridors yet now will be remembered. once again... heartfelt words.
It's very sad but true, often the recognition comes after death. Thank you Sir, for Uplifting and Valuable comments for my poems. Thanks a lot.

You have told a bitter truth here. Thanks sir
Your visual of the rose pedals on the tarmac was eloquent and vivid.
