With you
a poetry is born
as and when
your dove like steps
step into
my thought deep within
my memory lane
with your mellifluous voice
when the stagnant water
of river Suna
thrills finding a cadence
for its eternal flow
into the vast ocean
when your cascading brunette hair
instills vigour
into the dispirited clouds
to regroup and rain
over the scorching summer sun
when your joyous smile
invokes Nature
to bring in
the resplendent Spring
unto this barren Earth
where crickets sing
at their full throated ease
and children tease
and run after the butterflies
shining in the morning sun;
and the tipsy breeze seen
touching the naked bosoms
of the pubescent jasmine
and alluring the cuckoo to sing
hiding behind the lush green
when the musk rising
from your comely self
spreads out into the flowers
and lures the bees
to passionately blurp
serenades
for their amorous lovers
when from your tender heart
the spring of love rhymes forth
uncanny though
but sweetly rhymes
into my soul purging
my every suffering and pain
with its never ending refrain
as and when,
your every silent wink
volumes commune
with me
about your soul's wish
for a divine union,
a poetry is born.
