A Poet's Note Six (Lago Saltarello) Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

A Poet's Note Six (Lago Saltarello)

Rating: 5.0

(dedicated to Ms. Christina Phan, a poet friend at poemhunter)

I had woken up that Autumn morning
there was no sun coming into clouds
the weather was so breeze, so cold
the leaves of the oak were trembling

suddenly rain poured down to old house's roofs
I had watched through the room's window
thunder's light decorated the streets
then its sound pounded the park

as breakfast dew near
I could see circling water
were waltzing in a vivid way
how one of its kind experience!
