I always respect that inner voice and it has never let me down. 'Perhaps a word isn’t quite perfect And the ‘look’ may not be right “Change it, ” the voice continues We see flashing luminous lights' Liked this stanza but following two lines are simply outstanding. That's the ultimate truth! 'Enjoying the craft is the bottom line For a poem can come to us in a blink! ' Thank you for this beautiful work... A sweet 10

ahhhh what a dilemma! There is a strong part of me that says 'Leave it alone! That's the way it was meant to come out! ' and yet you look it over and you hear that other voice say.....'maybe just change this word, it's too cliche', and that line is a bit rough, etc, etc.....' I think you brought up a great point that many of us struggle with.

This is so true. Even after i am finished I go back and shorten it up a bit or change the words. Such a great stress reliever tho. Get it down just right on paper, it seems to not take up so much space in your mind. Loved your concept 10 and counting
