Beautiful poem. I too have a poem with similar title. Truely a poet’s heart cannot be possessed by a single soul. It is free to wander and mate with life’s each and every beauty and to enjoy a friendship and communion with all.

Sadly, our lives have become too competitive these days to allow us time for poetry reading or writing. The few that still read or write, do it from their love for poetry. When a reader can relate himself or herself to a poem or to some lines of a poem, s/he develops some fondness for the poet as well. This is deemed as an achievement for an aspiring poet, and serves as an inspiration to him/her.

@Bharati Nayak, Thanks for quoting those lines from my poem. We are poets, we are readers as well, of each other's poems. Thus we we develop a unique bond among ourselves. We get familiar to some of the poets and their style of writing so much that we can say who the poet could be, by reading a few lines from the poem. Even we can identify the poet or the reader from his comments. Such is the bond.
