A Poet's Dozen

Rating: 2.8

The twelve main factors in a poet's life and death are...
1. Birth.
2. Food.
3. Sleep.
4. Love.
5. Poetry.
6. Writing.
7. More poetry
8. Imagination.
9. Harsh endless poetry criticism.
10. Death.
11. Harsh endless poetry criticism after death.
12. Reincarnation. (But never as a critic) .

I think your list pretty much encompasesses everything Shaun. From my own experience I might add nature, but that would be churlish perhaps. I really like your ending: Reincarnation (but never as a critic) . As the late, great David Bowie once stated, ' F...k the critics! ' Anyhow, it's a tough time for we poets inspired 10 from me!
