A poet is as vast as his dreaming,
A poet is as great as his thought—
A poet is as lofty as his verse,
A poet is as human as his spine.

A poet is as adaptive as his suffering,
A poet is as brave as his lifespan,
A poet is as defiant as his courage—
A poet is as alive as his protest.

A poet is as vile as his hypocrisy,
A poet is as sold as his flattery,
A poet is as cowardly as his fear—
A poet is as dead as his silence.

A poet is as popular as his facade,
A poet is as lonely as his truth—
A poet is as poet as his personality,
A poet is as immortal as his death.
