This poem, with its clever twist at the end, reminds us of the natural affinity between poetry and the artistry of nature. The things that inspire us, along with the fabric of our own thoughts, have a natural artistry, and our creative work often consists of tapping into that artistry and setting it off to best advantage- by placing it in a vase, as it were.
